In story, while Marlena (Deidre Hall) tells Kayla (Mary Beth Evans) that she now remembers Whitley was a patient of hers while she was possessed by the Devil (one of the beats of this story we don’t like), she tries to call the nurse concerned after mounting evidence points to Whitley having abducted Abe (James Reynolds).Īt Whitley’s apartment, things take a deadly turn when she wheels out the damaged space heater she has kept all this time that killed her husband and their three cats. Kim Coles (Whitley) has been showing up for this storyline on Days of our Lives, and has been the best part of it, and nowhere was that more noticeable than on Monday’s July 24th episode. Marlena also tells Whitley, she’s not Paulina Price. She explains that she knows that Whitley blames herself for her husband’s death, which is why she tried to replace him with Abe. In the present, Marlena tells Whitley she is a psychiatrist who is here to help her. For it was Deidre Hall as Charlemagne in the fictitious soapy send up that Abe (James Reynolds) was watching while in captivity at Whitley’s apartment. And of course, in actuality, Whitley is correct. Marlena asks if she knows who she is, and Whitley says, “How can I not know who you are? You’re just the queen diva of my favorite soap!” In the twist, Whitley believes Marlena is Charlemagne Delacroix from Body & Soul. Whitley, who has had a psychotic break, sees the good doc walk in and exclaims, “Oh, my heavens. On Thursday’s July 27th recap of Days of our Lives, Marlena (Deidre Hall) comes to visit Whitley (Kim Coles) who is in the interrogation room at the Salem PD. It’s the same ole, same ole, with him, he flip-flops with his divided feelings for the women. Hope then drops in for good measure that Liam has already gone to see Steffy (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood) and wants her again. Thomas says Liam just needs some time to get over this. Hope cuts him off revealing she doesn’t feel like that now. Thomas assures her that she is the most loving, amazing and wonderful wife and mother. She admits she blew up her marriage, and something is amiss with her. She is not proud of it, she doesn’t understand it, but she still caved in knowing the risks. It’s at that point that Hope admits she’s been fighting her feelings for him for awhile now. Thomas argues she was just caught up in the moment in Rome with the success of their line, and he should have kept his distance. She goes on to say that is on her, not Thomas, so he has nothing to feel guilty about. He wants a divorce after witnessing Thomas and Hope kissing in Rome. With the pick-up on Monday, and from upcoming teasers, its clear that Hope (Annika Noelle) and Thomas (Matthew Atkinson) will hit the sheets.Īlone with Thomas, Hope tells him her marriage to Liam (Scott Clifton) is over. It finally happened on Friday’s cliffhanger of The Bold and the Beautiful. ![]()
